Las Vegas Golf Vacations
Here’s a little trivia: Which is drier, Texas or Las Vegas?
The answer, of course, is Las Vegas.
And why does it fail to amaze me that in Las Vegas you’ll find several of America’s finest golf courses, I do not know. But what I know is that in Las Vegas, golf vacation becomes an ultimate high. Not because of the desert heat, but because the festive spirit of the sin city is really that affective.
Maybe it’s because Las Vegas remains undoubtedly as the world’s foremost entertainment capital, that it would have whole loads on entertainment locales including golf courses. And to think that the arid desert conditions of Las Vegas should stifle any attempt to make lawns green, the golf courses you’ll see on Las Vegas are instead beyond immaculate kept.
That’s why for a golf vacation, I recommend you golf vacations in Las Vegas. The air of gala, the chic, and the eloquence so typical of the city, plus a whole slew of marvelous golf courses, no other golf vacation idea gets better than golf vacations Las Vegas.
So what’s YOUR idea for Las Vegas golf vacations? Here’s what I recommend:
A Las Vegas Golf Vacation On The Wynn Golf And Country Club
Yeah, yeah, I know that the idea of a hotel vacation –especially in Las Vegas is already a bit jaded. But if you consider that The Wynn Golf and Country Club is the only golf course on the Las Vegas Strip –this might change your outlook.
The Wynn Golf and Country Club is just as the name implies: a golf club with a countryside setting. It has all the amenities you can expect for first class golf course: clubhouse lounge with full serviced men and women locker rooms, a pro golf shop, several practice areas including a chipping green, a putting green, and a full swing practice area; caddying service and golf carts; restrooms, snack bars on the green along the 9 and 13th hole.
The green fee is $500 and is only available to hotel guests. This might be astronomical to some but when you play this golf course, you’d see nothing but worth the expense. Such is to be expected since it’s a Tom Fazio design by the way.
Conquering Shadow Creek, Las Vegas golf vacations
Being listed as one of the top 20 golf resorts of America by Golf Digest should be enough persuasion. Shadow Creek is the finest golf resort in Las Vegas; in fact it’s the only golf resort of around 60 plus golf course in Las Vegas that got highlighted in the Golf Digest. But Shadow Creek is private, that’s why it is very expensive.
In fact, if not for the awesome 5 star hotel treatment of the Wynn Las Vegas (and for the hotels of Las Vegas, this is already a marvelous praise), I would recommend for your Las Vegas golf vacations Shadow Creek. Here’s the option though, if you want a more bang, a more substance in the challenge stay at the Wynn and travel to Shadow Creek for the golf.
So, is the $500 green fee worth it? Yes, it is.
Tropical experience In The Bali Hai Golf Club
Bali Hai Golf Club’s argument goes like this: during your Las Vegas vacation golf package, what you need to avoid doing is the same recreational releases you can experience just about anywhere in the United States. So that’s why, entertaining this chain of thought, it easy to suggest tropical setting Bali Hai Golf Club.
It’s easy to forget you’re still on the west, if you’re on the Bali Hai green: 10,000 tropical palms plus some 7 acres of water features with some of these do require golfers to interact with water. Everything completes the façade, even the architecture.
Las Vegas is not just about golf, though golf is one of Las Vegas premier attraction. Las Vegas is the ultimate 24/7 metropolis...you know what I’m referring to.
